Early equipment check will be available at the venue on Friday, 4:30-6:30 pm
All events will be capped and entry is on a first-come first-served basis – no exceptions. Caps may be adjusted depending on registrations in each event and to ensure a daily balanced schedule so if interested in competing get on the waitlist. Once the event cap has been reached fencers will be placed on a wait list. Wait lists will also be cleared on a first-come first-served basis. Waitlisted fencers may also inquire in-person at the BC on tournament day and may enter if available slots.
Important Wait List Info
Fencer must supply a valid payment method to officially join the wait list and be eligible for graduation into the event. Your card is not charged until you are moved off the wait list and into the tournament. When you officially join the wait list you will receive an e-mail noting your position. Wait-listed entry without payment method is considered pending and your position will drop below any completed wait listed entries. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a viable payment method. Expired cards or cards with insufficient funds cannot be processed and should this be the case you cannot be advanced off the waitlist to official entry. If you join the wait list during regular fee period you will be charged regular fee, if during late period will be charged late fee.

RYC tournaments are open to current USA Fencing Competitive members and those with a current International Competitive License eligible to fence in open competitions. RYC competitions are one of the possible qualification paths for Youth 10 and Youth 12 events at both the March NAC and the Y10, Y12 and Y14 USA Fencing National Championships. RJCC competitions may qualify Cadet and Junior fencers to the USA Fencing Junior Olympics and July Challenge. Fencers only earn points within their home region (your Region is assigned based on Division affiliation). RJCCs held between JOs regular entry fee deadline and the Junior Olympic Championship will allow fencers that meet either the Junior Olympic birth year criteria or the July Challenge birth year criteria. Those who meet only the Junior Olympic birth year criteria may only earn new classifications, but will not receive regional points.
Fencers only earn points within their home region (your Region is assigned based on Division affiliation). These points may qualify Youth fencers to the USA Fencing National Championships. Points earned at Regional tournaments are not considered in determination of national point standings; they are only reflected in regional point standings.
Using the formula below, RYC and RJCC tournaments will award points to all participants:
((# entries – place + 1) / # entries) x 100 points
The winner of each RYC/RJCC, regardless of size of field, will earn 100 points. The size of the participant field is based on all athletes in the event, regardless of region.
