Rain City Fencing Center is pleased to announce our Regional Youth Circuit! RYCs are regional point events for Youth-10, Youth-12, and Youth-14 fencers.
Please note that we have changed the start times for Youth-8 Men's Foil, Youth-8 Women's Foil, and Youth-10 Women's Saber on Sunday. All three events are now scheduled to start at 2:00pm.
Doors open each day at 7:30 AM. Arrive early to get your equipment checked!
All times listed are close of registration. Fencing will begin within ten minutes of that time, so be prepared!
All events will be fenced as a single round of pools, followed by straight direct-elimination, no fence-off for third.
Events with fewer than 4 fencers of one gender may be fenced mixed. Mixed events may include a fence-off for third to separate 1st or 2nd place of one gender. Mixed events will award regional points based on overall placement.
Medals will be awarded to the top 8 finishers in each event. Mixed events will still award separate boys' and girls' medals
On Friday November 17st, we will be doing equipment checks in the evening from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM.
Minor athletes may be accompanied by one parent or guardian in the venue. All spectators and parents must remain in the lobby or upstairs on the mezzanine. Only athletes, officials, and coaches are allowed on the fencing floor.
This tournament is in Region 1. Fencers from any region may compete, but only Region 1 fencers earn points.

Registration and admin fees are non-refundable. To request a refund of event fees, send us an email. Refund requests must be received by Sunday, November 19th. No refunds will be given after the tournament is complete.
For fencers visiting from outside the Seattle area, the following hotels are located near the venue. There will be no shuttle service from the hotels to the venue. Parking at the venue will be available.
