Welcome to Fortune Fencing ROC (DV1A, DV2, VET), RJCC & RYC (Y14, Y12, Y10, Y8)

ALL EVENTS ARE CAPPED

The Venue

  • Ontario Convention Center - Hall A &B and Ballroom A,B located at 2000 E Convention Center Way, Ontario, CA 91764
  • 85,000 sqft venue
  • 58 grounded strips
  • Final Strip on platform, with Video Replay and Live Streaming on our YouTube Channel
  • FREE water stations will be provided throughout the venue
  • Around the clock cleaning and disinfecting routines throughout the whole venue
  • Only 1.7 mile from ONT (Ontario International Airport), 54 miles from LAX (Los Angeles International Airport), 45 miles from SNA (John Wayne Airport), 50 miles from LGB (Long Beach Airport) and very close to all major highways

We promise

  • Start all events on time within few minutes after close registration
  • No delay before and between rounds and no flighted events
  • Highly skilled Bout Committee staff and highly ranked & licensed National and International referees

Equipment Check

  • Equipment Check will be opened Friday 9/1 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, as well as all event days from 6:30 AM
  • It is highly recommended to come and check your equipment on Friday if your event is the first event on Saturday. Other fencers are also welcomed to check their equipment on Friday

Important - Read Carefully

  • All events will be capped, and entry is on a first-come first-served basis - NO EXCEPTIONS. Once the tournament has filled to the capped amount, a wait list will begin. When an athlete withdraws from the event the next person on the wait list will then have 24 hours to officially register for the event and pay event fees.
  • All fencing strips will be surrounded by stanchions (Fencing Zones). Spectators to sit outside the stanchions all times.
  • No food or drink allowed in Fencing Zones.
  • No parents, coaches, or spectators are allowed inside the fencing zones. NO EXCEPTIONS. However, only one coach is allowed to assist a fencer during DE bouts. Coach will stand in a clearly designated area and will be instructed not to step out of this area until the bout ends. Violators will be escorted out of the venue immediately. Fencers, please relay this information to your coach
  • Only fencers are allowed inside the fencing zones, and must stay behind the strips all the time, except for the times they are fencing.
  • Fencers are not required to sign the score sheet or DE slips. They can check the results at www.fencingtimelive.com instead and report any error to the Bout Committee
  • Monitors will be placed to display pools or results. You can also check live tournament results and tournament progress at www.fencingtimelive.com

  • Y8 = 2015-2018
  • Y10 = 2013-2016
  • Y12 = 2011-2014 (or on Y10 NRPS)
  • Y14 = 2009-2012 (or on Y12 NRPS)
  • CADET = 2007-2010 (or on Y14 NRPS)
  • JUNIOR = 2004-2010 (or on CADET NRPS)
  • ROC = Born 2010 or earlier (or on Junior NRPS)

Check-In

  1. Venue opens 6:30 AM all days. We recommend arriving at least 1 hour before close of check-in.
  2. Proof of current USA Fencing membership. If fencer is not a member yet, or membership expired, fencer has to complete and pay for USA Fencing membership at he door.
  3. All fencers have to have USA Fencing membership card or clearly legible copy to use Auto Check-In feature.
  4. Fencers to present proof of age: Original or copies of birth certificate, passport, or driver's license, unless if USA Fencing membership card has "Birth year is Verified " is noted on the card.
  5. Fencers must check in everyday they compete.

Event Fee Info

Registration and Event Fees

  • Regular fees until Monday August 14, 2023 11:59 PM PDT - Registration $54, Administration $5, and Event fee is $60/event
  • Late fees (Triple) from August 15, 2023 until August 31, 2023 11:59 PM PDT - Registration $156, Administration $15, and Event fee is $180/event
  • Starting September 1st, 2023, No Online registration is permitted
  • Walk-Ins is permitted with triple fees if there is spot available in the event and approved by the Bout Committee

Refund Policy

  • Registration fees and Administration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE
  • Refund requests must be received by August 18, 2023 11:59 PM PDT
  • Refund of events fees can be requested by sending email to fortunefencing@hotmail.com
  • Starting August 19, 2023 NO REFUND, NO EXCEPTION for any reason
  • Refunds are processed a few days after the refund request is received and will be processed by USA Fencing National Office.
  • NO REFUND will be issued to No Show or Withdraw from events
