The World University Games run from July 28th-August 8th in Chengdu, China with fencing competition running from August 2-August 7th, 2023. The cost of this event is estimated to be $2,865 + airfare. This price includes ground transportation to and from the Chengdu airport, practice transfers and transfers to the competition area; Team USA WUGs apparel, 10 night stay at the athletes’ village and three meals a day in the village. Final pricing information will be sent after the selection date and all fees must be paid within one week of selection.
Athletes must be currently registered in a university/college program (including incoming freshmen) or graduated between 2020-2023. Athletes must be between 18-26 years of age as of Dec 31, 2023 (must be born between January 1, 1996 and December 31, 2005).
