The Wang Memorial tournament funds the Wang Scholarship. This scholarship is open to all college-bound fencers. It is not need based and you do not have to fence on an NCAA team. Click here for a copy of the application and more information.
These events may earn points to qualify for Summer National Championships.
Birth Year eligibility for Div1A/Div2 is 2009 and earlier Fencers who are under the normal age limit for Senior, but are eligible to compete by virtue of being on the Junior National Points list require a manual registration process. Please email info@fenceintexas.org for assistance.
Division 1A (Div1A) Regional Open Circuit (ROC) is open to Fencing members with a competitive type membership, and foreign fencers with a current ICL (International Competitive License) are eligible to fence in open/senior competitions. Foreign fencers will be required to create a profile in the USA Fencing database prior to competing in any sanctioned tournament. Fencers must be at least 13 years old on January 1 in the year of the competition or in the Junior national rolling point standings (NRPS). There is no classification requirement. Regional points are awarded to the top 40 percent of the field (top 10 if the event has 25 participants).
Division II (Div2) Regional Open Circuit (ROC) is open to fencers 13 years and older with a classification of C or below. Regional points are awarded to the top 40 percent of the field (top 10 if the event has 25 participants).

Regular Registration closes March 5th, also the last day for refund requests. After March 5th, triple fees will go into effect and no refunds will be given. Refunds are in accordance with current USA Fencing policies. "Registration and administration fees are nonrefundable, and registrants withdrawing from an event will receive a refund of 50% of the Event Registration fees."

The hotels and venue are equally available from DFW International and Love Field Airports. There is no free shuttle service from the airport. Lyft/Uber, taxis and paid shuttles are available. You can also check the train service from DFW International to the hotels.
