Tournament Details

The Mission Regional Junior/Cadet Circuit (RJCC) is a regional qualifier for the Junior Olympic Championships and the July Challenge for Region 3 fencers. All Region 3 competitors earn regional points towards qualification to JO's 2022 and the July Challenge 2022

The Regional Junior Cadet Circuit (RJCC) is sanctioned by USA Fencing. RJCCs are a group of events throughout the country for fencers in the junior and cadet age categories in all six weapons. They provide an opportunity for young athletes to experience elite competition, earn regional RJCC points, and prepare for future national events while limiting travel time and expenses for the fencers and families. Regional RJCC Points will be awarded to all fencers in the competitive field who reside in Region 3. The Athlete's Handbook:(http://www.usfencing.org/athletehandbook) contains detailed information on qualifying pathways for the Junior Olympics and the July Challenge and should be used as the appropriate reference document.

Note, this tournament is being scheduled at the request of USA Fencing; however, subject to New York State laws and orders regarding COVID-19, including assembly of persons, or if any circumstances arise that would preclude safe running of this event, this tournament can be cancelled at any time. Should tournament cancel, any refund of fees is subject to USA Fencing.

There will be no exceptions to COVID-19 safety protocols implemented throughout the tournament. If you cannot comply do not register for this tournament. These protocols and tournament changes due to COVID-19 are up for change at anytime.

Online registration for all events of the Mission RJCC are open. Registrations for each event in this tournament will be capped in order to maintain compliance with local health and safety regulations and occupancy restrictions. See below for a list of events and the cap for registrations of each. Entry is on a first-come first-served basis – no exceptions. Once the tournament has filled to the capped amount a wait list will begin. When an athlete withdraws from the event the next person on the waitlist will then have 24 hours to officially register for the event and pay event fees. Direct any questions regarding capping to USA Fencing National Office.

The regular fee deadline for the tournament will be Tuesday, September 7th. Late registration will open on September 8th at triple fees, and late registration will end on September 12th.

There will be no spectators. Each fencer is allowed a maximum of one (1) guardian in attendance; this one person may be parent, guardian, coach etc. Guardians must remain in designated area. No exceptions. Coaches (those with a Current USA Coach Membership) Will be allowed on the fencing floor.

You must sign a Liability Waiver when you register and each fencer and guardian complete a Health Questionnaire prior to arrival details to be announced.
