COVID19 Guidelines (Subject to Change) - Please Read Carefully All ATTENDEES age 12 and older must be fully and demonstrably vaccinated against COVID-19. This vaccination requirement applies to participants, coaches, officials and spectators. You will need to show proof of vaccination to be allowed into the venue - each day.
For those under the age of 12: as the COVID-19 vaccine was recently given emergency use authorization by the FDA for individuals age five through 11, we will accept a negative COVID19 test (PCR and Rapid) from a 3rd party service provider as long as the test result paperwork is dated no more than 72 hours from event registration close FOR THOSE UNDER THE AGE OF 12 ONLY WHO ARE NOT VACCINATED.
Medical and religious exemptions will be permitted only if they have been previously approved by USA Fencing. Proof of approval will be required at entrance of venue in order to be allowed in venue. No Exceptions. All competitors and spectators with an approved medical/religious exemption will still be required to have a negative PCR/Rapid test result from a 3rd party service provider as long as the test result paperwork is dated no more than 72 hours from event registration close.
This tournament is also subject to state laws and orders regarding COVID-19, including assembly of persons.
COVID-19 Protocols will be implemented throughout the whole tournament.

If the tournament is cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns or by the order of USA Fencing, a full refund will be issued to all fencers except for admin fees.
Chairs will be placed on the floor in designated locations to allow for social distancing. Any violators will be escorted out of the building. No personal chairs or alternative seating options are allowed on the floor. No congregating or gathering in any doorways, hallways, or walkways.
All events will be capped, and entry is on a first-come first-served basis - NO EXCEPTIONS.
Once the tournament has filled to the capped amount, a wait list will begin. When an athlete withdraws from the event the next person on the wait list will then have 48 hours to officially register for the event and pay event fees.
Everyone in the venue must wear a face mask that covers nose and mouth except when eating and/or drinking. There are no exceptions. Face Shield is not a replacement to face mask. Failure to adhere to this requirement will result in an official warning. A second failure to comply will result in an immediate BLACK CARD.
Fencers are not allowed to touch the scoring machine, weights, shims, remote and scoresheet. Fencers are not required to sign the score sheet or DE slips. They can check the results at www.fencingtimelive.com and report any error to the Bout Committee
Fencers should refrain from shaking hands after bouts
When you have finished fencing in your event, we ask that you consider gathering up your belongings quickly and leave the venue.
Unfortunately there will be no medal ceremonies. Top 8 to receive their medals near Bout Committee and can pose for pictures with their Teammates or coaches socially distant of course.

Day of Check-In Venue will open 6:30AM Saturday and Sunday. Plan on arriving 1 hour before close of check-in.
Proof of current USA Fencing membership, current FIE license, or foreign federation membership must be presented. All fencers must have a USA Fencing membership card or a clearly legible copy to use the Auto Check-In feature.
Fencers must check in everyday they compete.

Refund Policy Registration fees and Administration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE Refund requests must be received by February 5th, 2022 @ 11:59 PM PST Refund of event(s) fees may be requested by sending an email to cylucente@verizon.net Beginning February 6th, 2022, there will be no refunds for any reason. Refunds will be processed after the refund request is received by USA Fencing. Fencers who do not show up to an event, or Withdrawal from an event are not entitled to a refund.
