Hand sanitizer will be provided and a cleaning crew will be on hand to wipe down all areas on a consistent basis. Fencers and spectators will not be allowed on the floor if they are presenting any symptoms and will be sent home. We will restrict the fencing area to the fencer and their coach with a designated space for spectators.
Also, fencers are encouraged to maintain no contact with other fencers or refs and salutes with a light tap of the end of the blades will be utilized instead of elbow bumps. Referees will sign for all fencers once scores are verified. We will also keep everyone updated as things are monitored, but we hope that everyone stays safe until then and we look forward to holding this event.
