Richmond Fencing Club looks forward to hosting you and your fencer(s) at their annual Spring RYC! Thank you for choosing to support our event, and support the growth and development of youth saber in Region 6.
Medals will be given to the top 8 finishers in each event. Please be sure to wear full fencing whites or your club warm-ups during the medal ceremony.

We will have a nationally recognized armory conducting equipment control. Please expect the same level of armory inspection as you would encounter at a USA Fencing event.
We will have nationally recognized Medical support staff on site.
Equipment for Purchase
We will NOT have an equipment vendor on site, but the club will have some items for purchase.
COVID-19 Concerns The top priority for USA Fencing is the safety and welfare of the athletes, officials, coaches and spectators.
The Referees’ Commission has announced the temporary suspension of the section of Rule T.122 which states that fencers must shake hands with their opponent at the conclusion of a bout. Athletes must still perform the fencer’s salute at the start and conclusion of the bout.

About Richmond Fencing
Richmond Fencing Club has been in existence since the 1960's and at its present location since 2005. Our Club has been home to fencers and coaches who have gone on to compete in the Olympics, Veteran World Championships, numerous National and International events, and Coach Champion University and Olympic fencing teams. The Club is home to multiple national competitors, division champions, section champions, and a national point holder.
Event Fee Details Regular entry fee period is in effect through May 9, 2020 at midnight. Late fee penalty will be at triple the normal fee rate from May 10, 2020 through May 13th, 2020 and will close at midnight.
Refunds Registration fees and Administration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Refund requests must be received by May 13th, 2020 by 11:59PM PST. Refund of events fees can be requested by sending email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Starting May 14th, 2020 there are NO REFUNDS, NO EXCEPTIONS for any reason. Refunds will be paid to the original credit card used at the time of signup. All refund are processed by USAFencing's National Offices. NO REFUND will be issued to No Show's or Withdrawal's from events.
There are probably 70+ hotels to choose from within 8 miles of the club location (That’s a guess, it could be substantially more), whether it’s in the West End, Scott’s Addition or Downtown, there’s a great hotel to support all your expectations.
Richmond (RIC) International airport is located 13 miles from the club.
The Scotts Addition area Richmond is home to many wonderful restaurants all within walking distance to the club.
